== Technical Data ==

The Hestia-class is part of a new wave of Starfleet ships with additional hardening to the hull and the components within. The design also does not include the [[Ablative Generator|nanotech armor technology]] common on previous ships since the introduction in 2377. Instead the vessel features two levels of deflector shielding.
