The Scorpion-class is a corvette purpose built for scouting missions, and designed specifically to dock with the Lexington-class within its underside docking port. The Scorpion is a highly maneuverable craft with considerable weaponry for its size, designed to augment the role of the Lexington-class vessel.
History
Technical Data
The Scorpion-class vessel is the sister ship to the Aquarius-class Scout. The exterior designs utilize the same hull configuration, however the Scorpion has several internal differences to accommodate its intended combat role. Specifically, the multi-phasic sensor system has been removed, and the cargo bay has been completely repurposed. These changes make room for additional weaponry and the ablative armor generators.
