The Cyclone-class is a replacement or upgrade for the Sao Paulo-class tactical cruiser. This new design is not as compact as the other, but will be nearly as maneuverable and have significant defensive and offensive capabilities.

Technical Data
The over-sized nacelles of the Cyclone-class are an experimental new system to improve upon warp acceleration. This new system, when fully operational, should grant the vessel a significant advantage when pursuing a traditionally equipped vessel.
