Biography

Alexander Temple was Born on the 22nd of August 2406 to Parents Elisa and Franklin Temple in London, England on Earth. He grew up with his parents and his younger brother Peter Temple on board various Starbase's where his parent's assigned vessel operated from. His mother was the main parent who took care of Temple while his father was on Duty. His schooling was carried out on the various Starbase's that his parent's ships operate from. Alex was always excited to see his mother and father when they returned home because they would tell him stories about what happened during their patrols. By the age of 10 he started to express his desire to follow in his parents footsteps and planned to join Starfleet when he was 18. From then on he worked hard in school and colleague learning basic to advance mathematics and by the time he was 16 he was learning quantum mechanics. He was also pretty good in the physical education and took up Soccer and even attended several games on the holodeck with his father.

When Alex was 17 he and his brother Peter left their parents and returned to Earth where they lived with their Uncle who was brother of Elisa, While Alex was working hard to gain the relevant prerequisites to gain entry into Starfleet Academy his brother Peter was busy attending culinary school and he would often cook rather elaborate meals for Alex and his Uncle which Alex enjoyed and would always say 'Having a cook for a brother has its advantages'

Having gained the relevant qualifications and a recommendation from a friend of his father he enrolled into the academy with the aim to be an Engineer. He made a few friends during his time at the academy and he studied starship engineering and warp mechanics. He took part in several engineering exercises and he teamed up with a few Starfleet Academy colleagues to work personal projects with the aim to create more efficient warp fields and solving various engineer problems.

During his time at the academy he kept in contact with his parents on a weekly basis and he was proud when they were assigned to the USS Antietam. He watched the Antietam set off on its journey in 2424. Afterwards he carried on his studies and eventually graduated from the Academy with full honours having written several Engineering papers along the way. He carried on with his weekly contacts with his parents and he kept them informed about his progress in the academy and they were always proud of him.

Tragedy struct Alexander when Starfleet lost all contact with the USS Antietam and his brother Peter who had taken up a civilian job in a cafe in San Francisco begged Alex to request assignment to any vessels that were going to be assigned to search for the Antietam. Temple agreed and he requested assignment to the USS Phoenix. Peter also asked to come with him but Alex explained that he couldn't come along as he wasn't a Starfleet officer. Alex promised Peter that he would keep Peter updated and would call him at least one a week.
