The Courageous-class is the first vessel combining Starfleet and Klingon components and design priciples. Resembling an Earth falcon in flight with its wings slighty drawn in for a dive, the Courageous-class vessel is nothing like its typical Federation counterparts.

The Courageous-class vessel is a short-range corvette, designed to compliment a larger cruiser. It has full stealth capabilities, including a Klingon cloaking device.
