Deep Space 9 was the long standing Bajoran/Starfleet starbase in the B'hava'el System, home of the planet Bajor and the Celestial Temple.
History
In 2455, Deep Space 9 suffered catastrophic structural failures, due to decades of patchwork, abuse during war times, and an initial Cardassian design that was never intended to last over a century.
In 2456, Deep Space 9 was replaced with Emissary Station.
