The Hestia-class is a heavily armored replacement for the again Prometheus-class tactical cruiser. The Hestia-class is built from the ground up to be sturdier, with a thicker hull, all designed to deliver a massive payload upon its target or targets. Like the Prometheus-class, the Hestia-class also includes a Multi-vector Assault Mode, where it can divide into three separate vessels to attack an enemy from multiple sides at once.

History

Technical Data

The Hestia-class is part of a new wave of Starfleet ships with additional hardening to the hull and the components within. The design also does not include the nanotech armor technology common on previous ships since the introduction in 2377. Instead the vessel features two levels of deflector shielding.
