History

Technical Data

The interior of the Typhon-class is separated into three general areas.

The Command section with 140 decks, is the front third or nose of the craft. It is further separated into several key sections, including 29 decks reserved for disaster recovery operations. These decks can house, feed, and provide care for over a quarter million individuals for long periods of time.

The middle section of the vessel is bulbous, and includes several internal docks that can be accessed through massive exterior doors. The interior of this section can house a maximum of 36 vessels, ranging in size from corvettes to frigates. Also within the mid-section of the vessel are several decks for fighter operations. These include dedicated storage and launch facilities for 98 squadrons.

The third section of the vessel are the engineering spaces. Technically smaller than the other two sections, but visibly looking the same size, due to the six massive warp nacelles that encompass the engineering hull. This section houses six warp reactors, one for each nacelle. Power needed to propel this massive craft at warp. In addition there are four massive fusion reactors to power the impulse drives.
