Biography

Jetrel was born on Trill in the year 2424 to Parents Nistri and Robez Telaz. Jetrel had a ordinary child hood and was sent to a very respectable school where she was taught. She had a very nervous personality when it came to standing up for herself and was a generally shy girl. She was very good with maths and especially science where she developed her skills in Astrophysics, Planetologist and Stellar cartography. Having seen their daughter had an affinity with science they enrolled her into the science academy. During her time in the Starfleet science academy she decided she wanted to be joined with a symbiont but to do so she would have to put her Starfleet training on hold for the duration of her time on Trill where she went through the process that Trills go through to receive a Symbiont and she passed with flying colours and she was approved receive a Symbiont it wasn't easy after almost 8 months at the commission and a month of examination by doctors to see if she was able to be a host, she was sent to a Person who was a host for a week who evaluated her as a host and after a lot of hard work she proved that she was able to carry a Symbiont.

After period of time of waiting she received the Symbiont Ryu and became its fourth host. Its previous hosts were Felicity, Jen & Tontro. Each had his or her own career. After receiving the Ryu Symbiont Jetrel's shyness and Nervousness was replaced with confidence about herself and she wasn't afraid to chat to those around her. Being as one of Ryu's previous hosts had knowledge of the medicine this increased her knowledge in the field. Plus her knowledge of piloting increased due to Jen's experiences as a pilot. Tontro's medical experience cemented her intention of returning to Starfleet academy so she could help those in need around the galaxy. The chance to explore space was a high motivation for resuming her life at the academy aswell because she knew she had a lot to offer Starfleet and she will go out of her way to make sure her assigned ship achieves its mission objectives.

Once she returned to Starfleet academy she resumed her training but unfortunately the rest of her original class had graduated before her return so she had to train with an entirely new class. She made a few friends in her new class which helped. She passed on most of her science modules with flying colours however she barely made it through on the Temporal Physics. During her time at the academy should would often think back to her previous hosts.

Felicity was the only other female host and she was a politician who became famous for her speeches on Science and astrophysics. She became planetary secretary for science. To get to her high position in government it took a lot of public speaking and knowledge of the sciences. Felicity spent the teenage years attending colleges and universities on Trill where she took Politics as one subject and medicine as a secondary subject. In politics she would often stand up in front of the class with another pupil and take part in a debate which she enjoyed to do. She thrived on arguing points and putting forward ideas that she hoped would improve the sciences on Trill.

Outside political life Felicity was a normal woman who wanted a normal life and a family. She often dated guys her age and she enjoyed listening to their life stories and she enjoyed telling hers. They found her to be very knowledgeable. Due to the fact she was Ryu's first host she didn't have the advantages of previous host's life experience as the future hosts of Ryu would have. One of the main reasons she wanted to become a host was helping the Symbiont gain knowledge for the future hosts to use. When Jetrel received the host she received Felicities love for politics, medicine and her drive for success. Felicity went on to live a happy life she married a fellow politician and had 2 children and died of old age.

The Symbiont then moved onto Jen who was a pilot and owned his own ship where he ran transports between planets. Jen was brought up by parents who travelled a lot of the quadrant, trading goods which they salvage from wreckage they found in space. While his parents were away on business Jen was left on Trill in the care of his Uncle and Aunt who were both joined. Jen took immediate interest in Symbiont's and decided he wanted to be joined. So he worked hard on his education and studying. He took up ship engineering and piloting in college and when he graduated he immediately applied to the Symbiosis Institute to become a host. Training was very hard and his mentor he was assigned to wasn't at all easy on him. His mentor understood how much being joined meant to Jen and recommended him to be accepted to become a host.

After being joined with Ryu he followed in his parents footsteps and started trading between planets with the ship his parents left him when they retired. Jen was a very profit minded person and was always thinking of his next line of income once he had finished a line. If it weren't for the spots and lack of lobes he could easily be mistaken for a ferengi. Jen was a very skilled pilot he became famous for inventing maneuvers when ever his ship was in trouble. In the end he paid for his over confidence in his piloting skills when he maneuvered to close to an atmosphere and crashed his shuttle causing him untreatable wounds and the Symbiont had to be removed. Jen's death left was tragic and heart break as at the time was due to be married to a fianc back on Trill. In terms of what Jetrel received from Jen was a reckless streak plus a bit of a sense of humour along with a bit of sarcasm mixed in.

The Symbiont then moved onto Tontro who was a doctor on board a transport vessel. Tontro was brought up on Trill by his mother and father who were both law enforcement officers on Trill. Tontro had a fairly quiet child hood and was a bit over protected by his parents. Education was fairly good for Tontro and he particular was good in biology education. Good fitness ran in the family's blood and but he knew immediately that he did not want to follow in his parents footsteps and catch criminals. Instead he wanted to be a doctor so after leaving school he enrolled into college and took up medicine. He graduated and started work on Trills space transportation department as a doctor.

A year passed uneventful aboard the vessel when they were called away to transport the Ryu Symbiont back to Trill from the planet Jen had died on. However the Symbiont took a turn for the worse, having suffered traumatic injuries to its external layers in the crash that claimed Jen's life, during the trip back and a host had to be found so the Symbiont could be saved. Tontro was the only Trill on board and he agreed without reservation to become the host knowing that a symbiont's life was in danger and a Trill's responsibility is to help a Symbiont to live. After being joined Tontro tried to carry on with his life as normal aboard the ship but his shipmates all noticed the difference to his personality having received the two life experience of Ryu's two previous hosts. It took a while for him to adapt aswell as his shipmates but they eventually adapted to him. Tontro went on to serve in the Trill Transport service for another 35 years, during which he married and had 2 children, before retiring to a country offsted on Trill where he died peacefully in his sleep surrounded by the trill doctors and family. From Tontro Jetrel gained some useful experience of medicine
