Transport pod

The Qee Transport Pod, or transport system, allowed them to travel great distances in the blink of an eye. There were three noted types of Qee transport systems, the Jump Drive, which they used aboard their ships, the Transport Pod, and a limited range and smaller version of the Transport Pod.

Jump Drive

Qee ships utilized a number of technologies that were quite different from Starfleet. The most notable was their Jump Drive. Capable of moving a vessel great distances in a matter of moments. Specifics on how the drive functions has not been determined yet, but current theories suggest it is some sort of wormhole drive, where it creates an artificial wormhole and travels through it. The drive is believed to be able to transport vessels equipped up to 100 light years in a single jump. Further jumps may be possible, but none have been witnessed by Starfleet personnel.

The Qee city on Gaphistea II was also equipped with a jump drive (see Abaward). However due to power issues at the time, the only witnessed jump resulted in significant portions of the city being destroyed.

Transport Pod

Used on multiple colonies in the Qee controlled worlds, the transport pods were capable of transporting large quantities of goods or people from one world to another, regardless of distance. The worker or slave colonies on the Qee worlds used these pods to deliver the goods they had collected or manufactured. These pods were also used to transport food to colonies that had met their quota of deliverables.

The Abaward used a smaller less powerful transport pod to deliver the meals they created up to the Qee city.
