Temple walks onto the Callisto carrying an engineering tool case.

Anewan is of course already here. He has a PADD and looking down and up again he looks towards the entrance.

Temple looks to Anewan and says "Ah Lieutenant, I have the holoemitters, all we need to do is fitting them in the locations that have been designated"

Anewan nods, "You think we can wire it through the deflector?"

Temple nods and says "We can give it a try" he smiles and heads into the Callisto

Anewan nods, "Indeed. What ideas did you have to attach the emittiers?"

Temple sets down his toolcase and says "Computer shut down all deflector systems, Engineering Authorisation Temple Alpha Zero Omega" the computer complies and Temple looks to Anewan and says "I believe we could install the projectors into the main deflector emitters, once we've done that you'll need to install the relevant command sub routines into the Deflector system to enable the Deflector Emittors to project cloaking fields around the Targetted Cloaked Suits"

The door chime at Out sounds, "*be boowoop*"

Anewan has a PADD that he begins typing in, "I am pulling up the subroutines now, I was able to find them in the computer when we were first thinking about making this thing happen," he then speaks to the computer, "Computer, stand by to receive operational subroutines on my mark."

Lieutenant (jg) Worthington arrives from Central Corridor - Engineering Deck.

Worthington stays near the door as he enters so as not to get in the way of the engineer and ops specialist. "Afternoon lieutenants. I was patroling and noticed you working in here. Could you use any assistance?"

Temple nods as he starts to take off a few wall paneling which exposes the inner circuiry and other engineering gubbins, he see's Worthington enter and says "Afternoon Lieutenant" he unclips a few parts from a inner housing and reaches into his toolcase and takes out a holo emitter and starts installing it into the space the few parts came from.

Anewan stands over Temple's shoulder watching him and a slight nod towards Worth as he enters. He looks towards Temple then back to Worth, "It's pretty much his show right now. He may need you to hold something or watch a panel or something."

Worthington carefully edges his way over to the engineering console and begins monitoring the readouts. "Yes sir," he says. "Holo emitters into the deflector, this couldn't be for projecting decoys in a battle could it?" he asks with genuine curiosity.

Anewan still standing near Temple, "Close, we are trying to use the Callisto as a power source to cloak individual suits and maybe even EVA suits."

Temple chuckles and says "Well I suppose we could adapt them to do that in future, its quite possible theorically" he finishes welding and grabs another emitter and moves to another part of the open panel and takes out another two parts and starts welding teh second emitter into position"

Anewan shrugs, "I like to think ambitiously, and it should be a matter of only adding a few extra pieces," he shrugs again, "That's why I am not the engineer around here," he shrugs once more with a snort.

Temple finishes welding the second emiter and says "Two down three more to go, any change in the ships shield systems Lieutenant?" he moves over to anotehr panel and removes another two parts from a equipment rack and starts welding the third emitter into position"

Worthington shakes his head. "I'm not seeing anything yet, sir."

Temple nods and says "Good, if I was doing this incorrectly the ships shields systems would have gone down by now" he continues to work on the emitter and says "Normally this isn't part of my expertise, I'm more your Warp Purpulsion Specialist"

Anewan nods, "You would have a laugh if I were in there trying to do it," he turn towards Worth, "Is anything else blinking over there?"

Worthington smiles. "Sounds like it would be interesting to test the modifications. And I agree that adapting a dekoy for battle could be useful if it could be done, give the callisto a chance to leave the scene if facing superior enemies, or to confuse them long enough to make a difference. The cloak as we've seen is the Callisto's main

Anewan considers, "Well, I guess that sky's the limit huh? I didn't have a..well...hologram in mind, but I guess anything is possible. False sensor readings maybe?"

Temple finishes work on the fourth emitter and says "Trouble with the Decoy plan is ther emitters would require more power to power them plus the attacking ships will easily see through them should they try to scan the decoy given that the decoy is just made from light and force fields" he begins work on the last emitter.

Worthington nodds. "I understand," he says. "Everything's looking fine on this board," he reports.

Anewan heads away from Temple towards the Engineering COnsole, "I am sure we'll find a few more uses for it yet."

Temple nods and finishes up and closes the two panels and says "Okay lets get the show on teh road, computer reinitialise deflector systems Engineering Authorisation Temple Alpha Zero Omega"

Anewan crowds over the Engineering Console, "OK Lieutenant. Fire Her up."

Worthington seeds the engineering console to Anewan. "All yours sir," he says.

<<Log ends as the trio fire up systems and test the cloak and shields with no ill effects.>>
