Bridge <USS Diomedes NCC-90912>
Situated at the top of the vessel and near the midpoint is the main bridge. Unlike most capital-ship designs the bridge has no wasted space as space is at a premium on this smaller craft. In the center of the bridge is the Captain's chair, positioned on a swiveled base so he or she can easily turn to face the ring of stations circling the center. From port to starboard the consoles are: Engineering, Damage Control, Operations, Helm, Tactical, and Weapons Control. While not specifically designated, any of the console can double as the science console, but that is rarely the use of this vessel. This places the helm and operations stations at the fore of the bridge, just below the curving viewscreen that fills the forward bulkhead.
The ambience is subdued with simple lighting eminating both from overhead panelling and from the consoles themselves. The walls and carpet are of a light grey, with a burgundy highlight running up the bulkhead braces and along the edges of the carpet.

Ryu says, "They are hailing us sir."

T'Shaav's says, "On screen."

Ryu says, "Channel open sir"

The bridge of the small tactical frigate appears. "This is the Federation ship USS Diamedes. I am commander T'Shaav."

[Viewscreen (13933)] Waran smiles graciously, "Ah, my Federation friends. It has been too long. So good of you to take the time to come meet me like this." He bows his head, "You honour me with your presence. You may call me Waran." As is typical with Dominion visual communication, nothing behind Waran is visible on the screen, it is just a blur.

Ryu sits back in her chair as she watches the conversation.

T'Shaav nods. "Your request for a meeting was intriguing, Mr. Waran. What may we do for you?"

[Viewscreen (13933)] "So formal my friends." Waran smiles, "We're all friends here now our little skirmish is long behind us. I'd invite you over for tea, but I do have other pressing matters. You understand." He notes the pips on your two collars, "A Lieutenant Commander and an Ensign. Maybe it has been too long, that a Dominion representative doesn't warrant an Admiral, or even a Captain." He smiles, "But, on to the business at hand."

"And what business is that?" T'Shaav inquires, not correcting the Vorta.

[Viewscreen (13933)] Waran continues to smile, "A little matter really." his tone changes slightly darker, "The Treaty of Bajor, it has been violated."

"In what way, Mr. Waran?" T'Shaav inquires.

[Viewscreen (13933)] Waran replies, "It saddens me greatly that this is not information you already have, and that we must relay it to you." He sighs, "However, the Cardassian Union has taken up arms against the Dominion, and is planning some sort of attack. If that were to continue, it would violate the terms of the agreement, nullifying its effect." He smiles, "We have long enjoyed a peaceful respite, we would hate to have to come take care of things ourselves."

The Vulcan raises an eyebrow. "Mr. Waran, I am aware of no Cardassian vessels transiting the wormhole to the Gamma Quadrant, though the Bajoran sector is not my normal duty station. Can you elaborate, if you please."

Ryu listens to what is being said and ponders

[Viewscreen (13933)] Waran replies, "I can't help your intelligence in that matter. The lone ship has been taken care of, but it did attack." He smiles, "But as I also said, they are planning a foolish offensive, not unlike what occurred when the Tal Shiar and Obsidian Order attempted to destroy the Founders, a foolish endeavour. A god cannot be killed."

"I remember that event," the Vulcan says. "I was alive at that time. The Federation has no interest in allowing such an attack to go forward," T'Shaav says. "Mr. Waran, I have no difficulty believing what you say at face value. However, do you have anything tangible we can take to the Cardassians, for instance to prove to them that we know they are planning this thing."

[Captain's Chair: Ryu Console: If the cardassians are picking a fight with the Dominion the Tzenkethi attack on the Volon System must have been inconvenient timing]

[Viewscreen (13933)] Waran smiles, "If you would lower your shields, we will transport the proof aboard. We knew you would simply not take our word for it."

[Captain's Chair: Ryu Console: Commander the Dominion ship is performing a tactical scan on us]

[Captain's Chair: T'Shaav's Chair: Engineering and security, isolate cargo bay one and stand by incoming transport.]

T'Shaav nods. "Very well, Mr. Waran. We are lowering shields. Please transport what you have for us to cargo bay one, which we are highlighting for your displays now. Is there any further message from the Founders you would like us to convey?"

[Viewscreen (13933)] Waran smiles, "You will find the evidence in your cargo bay, as directed. Do let your superiors know our patience is limited. If you do not deal with this threat, we will."

T'Shaav nods. "We thank the Founders for their patience," she says diplomatically, for her at least. "We will be on our way."

[Viewscreen (13933)] Waran smiles, "Don't be a stranger now."
